Wart Treatment

Warts are caused by the HPV virus (human papilloma virus) and affect children and adults. There is a long list of treatment options for treating warts. A combination of treatments are usually more effective than using a single modality.

• Certain warts are shaved or ‘thinned’ first
• Cryotherapy
• Salicilic acid
• Curettage and Cautery
