Curettage and Cautery
Curettage and cautery is a procedure in which the dermatologist scrapes off a skin lesion and applies heat to the skin surface to stop bleeding and to destroy any remaining skin cancer cells.
Skin lesions commonly treated:
- Actinic keratoses
- Warts
- Skin tags removal
- Non-melanoma skin cancers
- Seborheic keratoses
